NSPC believes that our business should be a reflection of the community in which

operates, which includes both providing opportunities for the local community to use our facilities and
reflecting the culture of the local community in our services. We therefore
- Show preference to local farmers for food sources
- Highlight local recipes and ingredients as a part of local
culture
with historical significance
- Donate scraps and cooking oils to local farmers for livestock
food
and recyclable fuels
- Donate leftovers to local food banks and charities
- Hire locally and promote from within
- Provide retail space for local artisans, authors, and
photographers to display and sell their work and include interpretive materials to explain the significance
of
our merchandise choices
